Perks People Solutions has partnered with a well-established, national leader in the construction industry to find a skilled Document Controller for their Adelaide CBD team. This is a full-time, 6-month contract role with an immediate start.

The Role

As a Document Controller, you will play a vital role in managing all documentation related to a major, high-profile project within the defence sector. You will report directly to the Manager and be responsible for:

• Efficiently managing incoming and outgoing project documentation.
• Uploading and tracking key documents in Aconex (or a similar system) to ensure accurate records.
• Collaborating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth documentation flow.
• Coordinating and submitting supporting documentation for tenders and procurement activities.
• Ensuring all documents are appropriately registered and maintained.

About You

We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with a proven background in document control, project administration, or contracts/site administration, ideally within the defence or construction sectors. Key requirements include:

• Australian Citizenship and eligibility to obtain Baseline security clearance (current Baseline clearance is highly regarded).
• Experience in a similar role, ideally in document control, project or contracts administration in construction or defence.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage large systems and handle a high volume of documents.
• Familiarity with Aconex or similar project management systems.
• Immediate availability and readiness to commit to a 6-month contract.
