Accounts Payable Officer

Our Client 
This national company has an outstanding reputation for providing cutting edge services directly to consumers. They have a strong market presence, and they have quickly become a reputable name in Australia. Over the past number of years they’ve experienced continued success and growth, and they are actively expanding their offering. An opportunity exists for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their team, on a temporary basis for around 4 months, with the potential for the role to go permanent.
 
The Role
Reporting through to the Accounts Payable Supervisor your duties will include:

• High volume invoice processing
• Onboarding new suppliers into the ERP system
• Processing invoices and investigating exception reports
• Compiling and submitting batch payment runs
• End of month tasks including adjustments and reconciliations
• Other finance duties as required by the team

About You

• Experience working as an Accounts Payable Officer, Finance Officer or equivalent in a larger company
• Exposure to ERP software packages is desirable
• Comfortable with process improvement and change
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team
• Available immediately or with short notice
